Uttar Pradesh Coverage
Activities in the State
In Uttar Pradesh, the EMBED project under Godrej Consumer Products Limited's CSR initiatives extends across a significant and strategically chosen swath of districts, each selected for its unique needs and demographic characteristics. Our activities cover the bustling urban centers of Lucknow and Kanpur as well as the more rural and often underserved areas of Sonbhadra and Mirzapur. Other key districts include Bareilly, Budaun, Agra, Meerut, Prayagraj, Firozabad, Sitapur, and Hardoi.
These regions benefit from a range of targeted interventions aimed at combating mosquito-borne diseases. Our approach is multi-faceted, involving community mobilization, education, and access to preventive healthcare services and products. By focusing on both urban and rural communities, the project ensures inclusive coverage, addressing the specific health challenges faced by diverse populations across the state. This commitment underscores our dedication to improving public health outcomes and reducing the incidence of diseases like malaria and dengue throughout Uttar Pradesh.
